The personality inventory available on the personality project measures self reports of Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Emotional Stability, Extraversion, and Openness. The items are taken from Lew Goldberg's International Personality Item Pool, the IPIP. We used a six alternative response form so item scores can range from 1-6. (Because we are developing scales of variable lengths, we report the average item score on each scale.) We are slowly developing norms for these scales. The following distributions are based on the first 2,000 responses. We will be updating these figures periodically.
